Ginger Soy Cod is a simple recipe with a wonderful sauce. Keep a close eye on the sauce as you are cooking it because it will thicken very quickly. I like to put the fish on top of the rice then add the sauce. I like to the sauce to sink into the rice.
I like to cook fish outside on the grill because I don’t like my house to smell of fish. If you do the same be sure to use a cast iron pan that has a flat bottom. If you use a grill pan with slots on the bottom it will be impossible to make the sauce in the same pan and the fish will stick badly.
Fish is more expensive than other meats so the cost per serving is a lot higher. It is not really a budget friendly protein.
