Everyday Crockpot Whole Chicken

Everyday Crock Pot Whole Chicken recipe is great as a meal or as the base for other meals that require shredded chicken.

Everyday Crock pot Whole Chicken can be seasoned however you need to fit the dish you are making.  Shredded chicken is great for making chicken noodle soup, enchiladas, stuffed potatoes, chicken salad, etc. Check out some of our homemade seasonings for different crock pot chicken flavors.

If I have a Sunday with no plans I love to make different freezer meals. I start the morning by cooking a large chicken and then spend the afternoon transforming the shredded chicken into pot pies, stuffed peppers, chicken soup, enchiladas, etc. These meals are perfect to have on hand when I don’t feel like cooking one night.

Crock pot

Recipe serves: 4-5

Serving size: 4 ounces

Total time: 5 – 6 hours

I like the manual control of the crockpot versus the digital ones with delayed start and timers.  We have a lot of power glitches at our house and a digital crockpot will turn off and stay off. The manual control will turn back on once the power is back.
