Creamy Coleslaw

Creamy Coleslaw pairs well with any grilled meat or fried fish. The mixture of sour cream and mayo is better than just mayo on its own.

I really enjoy Creamy Coleslaw and prepare it multiple ways. It is a great side for many dishes especially in the summer months. I like a lot of pepper so I really load it on. I found this recipe in my Taste of Home Healthy Cooking 2012 Annual Recipes Cookbook.

  • celery salt
  • ground mustard

Grocery

  • 28 oz coleslaw
  • 8 oz sour cream

Let's prep!

Let's cook!

  1. Complete the prep from the prep tab above.
  2. In a large bowl with a tight fitting lid add the bag of coleslaw.
  3. Add 1/2 the dressing then stir
  4. Add more dressing a little at a time until the coleslaw becomes moist but not drenched.
  5. If you have extra dressing leftover place in a small container and refrigerate.
  6. Refrigerate the coleslaw for 1 hour before serving.
    • You may or may not need to add more dressing depending on how lightly you dressed the coleslaw.
