Slow Cooked Pork Tacos yes please! The flavors in this pork are fantastic and it is super easy to put together. You can control the spice by adding more hot pepper sauce or using a spicier salsa verde.
I like to use sliced pork loin in this recipe if I can’t find sirloin pork chops. I have found any cut of pork works for this recipe.

1-1/2 cups salsa verde |
1 medium sweet red pepper |
1 medium onion |
1/4 cup chopped dried apricots |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
2 garlic cloves |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon white pepper |
Dash hot pepper sauce |
10 flour tortillas (8 inches) |

Prep
- Gather all of your ingredients and measuring tools
- Add to Crockpot
- Chop pork in 2″ pieces
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/4 cup dried apricots
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1.5 cups salsa verde
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- Dash or two of hot sauce
Let's cook!
- Complete the prep from the prep tab above.
- Mix everything together.
- Place the crockpot on low for 6 – 8 hours or on high for 4 – 5 hours.
- Chop all the toppings and serve on tortilla. Enjoy!
